One day he was watching a video about building a silent and strong pc from linus bot he got it even better

He grabbed corsair obsidian 900D and 2 rosewill 500w passive

he grabbed Intel core i7 4790k instead 5960x

4790K Cooled by cooler master v8 gts (without fans) (He got high temps around 80C on 100 load)

For motherboard he grabbed asus maximus 7 hero

And best thing he took gtx 980 strix and for second card completely passive amd r7 250 1 gb of ddr5 (when he is not gaming)

for ram 16 gb of kingston savage 2400mhz

for storage 2x samsung 500gb in raid 0

 

I'am so jelaous what do you think about this build?

I like it.

When he is browsing he got 100% passive pc

2 970's in SLI

Been playing on a laptop for 6 years, I play Dota 2 with 10fps. Some might say this is impossible, I say its just annoying

295x2s aren't that loud... In fact, I think they have better temps than a 980

Whats total he is spent toward this system? I wanna check if i can do better normal build in pcpartpicker on x99, PSU that doesnt even spin until 50% load, noctua/noiseblocker fans etc...

That rather depends on the OEM. The Capstone and Capstone M PSU's are Super Flower. Very nice.
