Hello, I had a idea to start a media group, Kind of like LinusMedia group and a few of us can upload reviews / build logs and tech tips for people to watch. This is just a idea that sprang to mind as I've always wanted to start a YouTube channel but never had the chance. Anyone interested hmu

How old are you ? You would have to start a company and hire people won't really work otherwise

Would start making videos yourself since you can't start a company.

do you mean video editing software? Just use windows movie maker, it will be good enough for most uses.

No I mean, I don't have a computer capable of producing decent content :) I am building my 4690k + gtx 980 atm :D

I definetly would say starting a media group froma  buisness perspective is a losing proposition. It's so hard to get started and Linus has been doing this for over 6 years now. For a 15 or 16 year old kid to start one that is successful is way too unlikely. Also a media group implies that you are paying people salaries that can give them a living, I don't assume you can shell out 120k a year in salaries to 3 people? No one really can. If you truly want to do this type of buisness, work your way up to a media group founder. To use a Analogy, You are like a guy who wants to get into the crime buisness and wants to be a mob leader with 40 guys taking orders from you, life doesnt work that way my friend

Well he needs a reason to make videos, youtube is a saturated market already, so if he wants to make dumb videos about games or tech or something he needs to find a reason for people to watch him before he goes out and makes a "media group" which is a silly name anyways.
