Which Gtx 970 should i get

Gigabyte g1 gaming since it has better power delivery than other, better binned chips resulting in high overclocks, and better cooling to keep those temps low.

It isn't that loud. Also since it has a beefy cooler, fans dont ramp up that much.

I think it doesn't really make a lot of difference if all you are doing is gaming & not benchmarking.

The extra O/C you get from some cards will get around 10-15 fps on average if all other things are equal.

1 card might get you to 1500mhz while the other might only get 1450mhz. No difference in game play there.

Either card from any of the big brands will O/C pretty good & game with not much difference.

Buy a card that you like & maybe even that suits you rig style wise & colour wise.

Just my personal opinion :)

So i don't know what 970 should i get i have 3 options please help me.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB

EVGA EVGA GTX 970 4gb

MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4GB

BTW don't just say which one should i get tell me why too pls.

Gigabyte: best overclocking, best cooling (it has 3 fans), which stays under light pressure between 30db and 36db.

EVGA: perfect customer support, but this is needed because of the coil whine complaints and DOA's. Also, zero decibel when under low temperatures, but the fans have been reported loud.

MSI: great all round card, good performance and reviews, zero decibel mode when under low load.

EDIT: go for Gigabyte if you are an overclocker, but if not, MSI is the way to go.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

Its quiet because it has 3 fans.

This is not entirely true. Having 3 Corsair high performance fans in my case won't make it quieter, it will make it cool more efficiently.

Not every 970 can come close to 1500MHz. If I set my EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 to boost to anything higher than the stock 1367 MHz I get occasional crashes playing Dragon Age Inquisition. Every other game I have runs fine at 1417MHz boost clock, but not that one.

Yes but because they are 3 they have more cooling capacitie --> you can run them on very low rpm to achieve the same result as a blower fan style or even one with 2 fans

I think it's minimum is 34/35%, but what you say is true!
