Is G2A any good?

jam1234

Just a quick question,

Is G2A quick and trustworthy for steam codes? I am looking at getting Payday 2 to play with my friend but found that it is a lot cheaper on G2A than steam https://www.g2a.com/payday-2-steam-cd-key-global.html?reflink=payday-2-59-off

So have any of you guys used it and was it quick and easy?

Yes, G2A is very trustworthy. Just get the shield and you'll be fine.

I'v bought a lot of things from them without any issues.

Says it's a Steam key in the title?

"Cities:Skylines Steam CDKEY Global."

As well as the platform saying it's "Steam"

Haven't bought anything from G2A... Have you tried the Humble Bundle Store ? They have great prices and is legit I can vouch for that.

Edit: Payday 2 is $29.99 in Humble Bundle Store and at G2A it's around $9.00 (That's some ridiculous price difference...)

@op i can vouch for the legitimacy of codes bought on G2A.

I've bought about 20ish things from them. Haven't had any issues.

bought 42 games, all fine.
Make sure you buy from a high rated seller though.
Most g2a sales are through market place users, so naturally there may be some dodgey people on there.

The best thing to do is buy from a high rated seller or a g2a selected offer.

I will explain this to you using the link you gave for cities skylines.

jWXUn2a.png

So at the bottom you have various sellers, they all have a percentage rating and also a number of items sold.
The user at the top is a great choice to go with as he has 100% successful transaction with perfect feedback.

It's not always the user at the top whos best though.

For an extra 10p you could go with the third user down who has sold even more items and still has 100% feedback.

If you don't pick a user then you will have g2a selected offer instead, when you use this you are buying directly from g2a and not a market place user.
In this case it's an extra £4 but worth it.

you can see it says g2a selected offer on the right just above the price where it says buy now.
