what motherboard do you have?

ASRock z97 Pro4

Affordable, had lots of options, as well as the capacity to mount the man fans i needed w/o pwm splitter. That and it is black and blue, and matches my build ever so perfectly :D

Yes, i would. Love the motherboard, love the color. If not, I might grab a nice msi or Gigabyte board, but never and Asus board, not unless their change their styling significantly, imo their the ugliest boards you can buy 90% of the time. I don't care if they have one more option that I don't need, or they have the slightest, barely even comparable difference in quality. That fukin poop brown and diahrea gold color is just disgusting. Would it kill em to release a board that was affordable, and actually looked good?

Asus M5A88-M

Got my CPU for free and was building inside an OEM case at the time, so no choice but to go mATX AM3, and at the time it was the best choice for that (now there's GA-78LMT-USB3 but it's not that much better)

Not really

A gigabtyte Z77M-D3H-MVP

Hackintosh compatible and decently cheap

Given the fact that LGA 1155 is basically obsolete in Australia, no, I wouldn't.

Normandy - Intel Core i5 3470, 8 GB Corsair Vengenace LP, EVGA GTX 960 SSC, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, WD Blue 1 TB, Seagate 320 GB (steam), Seagate 320 GB (experimental, second OS, etc), Windows 8.1 + Ubuntu 14.10

Sabertooth P67

Because it was the sexiest motherboard at the time. Still is, considering the other sabertooth motherboards are just updated chipsets :)

I actually didn't choose it while buying my first PC, my uncle did, but I'm really glad he chose it because its been the longest lasting part of my PC, and it doesn't feel very outdated yet.

Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H

No real reason, just bought it because it had a good black friday sale, had great reviews, and had all the features I wanted.

Definitely. Looks nice (not too gamery) while looking good and the auto overclocking is handy.

hey guys thanks for al the posts and links,

how do you did you find working with your mo.bo.s?

and for those of you who've had your mother boards for 6 months plus have you have any issues with it?

online reveiws are great and all but when it comes to using it in your system its different.....any one agree?

example, i got the sony z1 phone when it came out, great reveiws but after 6 months it was very buggy lots of small problems etc. i wouldnt buy it again,

the same goes for any computer components

ASRock z97 Anniversary

I'd absolutely buy it again, picked it up for $80 and slapped a 4.4ghz OC on my i5-4690k @ 1.190v. On air. And this board has not broken a sweat. Fantastic board for the money. Need I mention a fantastic BIOS?

And I've given it a good thrashing while benchmarking this hog of a GPU:

Asus Z97-Pro

Love the board made some mods to fit my color scheme and covers over the Rear IO blocks, wasn't a big fan of the gold but overall does it's job well, and love the Fan Xpert software. Had to upadate the Bios once using their software and works great no issues since I got it.

It'd look much better without the weird plastic shell over most of the PCB. I love looking at the complex circuitry, which is the only thing that makes motherboards and other components beautiful.
