AMD 6300 Overclock jumping Problems

Cpu: AMD 6300

MotherBoard: Asus M5A97 R2.0

Ram: Corsair Vengance 8GB DDR3-1600

GPU: Asus OC 260x DDR5

I just build my new and first gaming pc. I got all of my games and all of my softwares like CPU-Z and overclocking stability programs. I overclocked my cpu to 4.0ghz and at first it lasted and was stable through 30mins of prime 95 but a few days later it began to jump around from 3.4ghz-4.5 when I set it at 4.0ghz. I am not sure why I feel like this is because its unstable.

Is it because its unstable?

Or

Is it because I didnt enable Cpu load line calibration & north bridge?

Please leave suggestions and More Info to help me.Thank you
