Is this hard drive borked?

Qazplm601
Recently i dropped a wd mybook. since the warranty was void, i decided to try and see if i could fix anything. i opened it up, and grabbed a video of what was happening when i turned it on. soo, i am wondering if this is fixable, or have i killed a poor 3TB WD green :(

It probably just died.

Depending on the age...most HDDs will wear out sooner or later. In this case, the drive surface may have become corrupt, or, the sensors went bad.

Maybe some bearings went loose so the accuracy is off.

You kinda should've seen a specialist for this issue.......you see HDD have special torqued screws, now that you had it opened its well broken.

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT
