Hey Guys 

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the    R9 270x??

 

First time building a PC and on a bit of a budget.

You can get a R9 270 used for $100 and overclock it for the same performance. I would recommend a 280 if you can afford it (Usually about $160 on PCPartPicker)

the 270X can almost always overclock higher than a 270 can ever reach, and can maintain the oc at a lower voltage because they are mainly higher binned 270's, and with a beefier power delivery design on the board. 

 

Honestly, the 270X is great, mine keeps at a stable 1250-1300mhz core, up from the 950mhz base clock speed, or 1025mhz factory oc.
