Anyway to get past HW TDP lock?

It seems my card has decided to restrict itself to 110% power limit and starts throttling at anything above that.

A member has already tried BIOS hacking it but it seems to be HW locked by MSI.

Is there nothing I can do as I know my card could hit higher overclocks if MSI weren't doo doo heads :(

-snip-

There is no OC button on your GPU? This might unlock it even more (and void warranty)

Yeah he already tried just raising it through a BIOS edit but it throttles at 110% :(

It seems a lot of games I play hit that TDP at high overclocks too :'(

It's just annoying because I know it can do more but MSI bitched out on the power limit D:

Thanks :)

Not on the Gaming 4G twin frozr v there isn't.

Not that I know of..

They are hardware locked the only way is to do this: http://overclocking.guide/increase-the-nvidia-power-limit-all-cards/

However, with your past experience (with your keyboard) I do not think it is a good idea.

EDIT

Just saw you posted that link...
