Buying a new phone

General_Led

So I'm planning on pre-ordering the gs6. My question is, does the phone come with a sim card or will I have to take it to att. I'm on a gs4 and I'm pretty sure the gs6 takes a different size sim.

A quick Google search says that the Galaxy S6 should have take a nanoSIM. The Galaxy S4 takes a microSIM. I'm sure there is a guide for cutting a SIM yourself, but it'd be easier if you went to your carrier store and asked them to cut the sim for you. You don't need to request a new one. Also, SIM cards do not come with phones (on their own)

Actually that is not true, in North America if you pre order or purchase a phone with a carrier they will provide a sim with the phone either in the box or extra for free of charge.

I'm already set on either the note 4 or gs6.

This is correct. I pre-ordered my S6 Edge through TELUS and a sim card (NFC-nano sim) was automatically added (unfortunately charged) but that was because I upgraded my device. I believe at this time, there is no option to pre-order the device outright without a service agreement.

Heyyo,

Yeah if you're getting a phone on contract? The Galaxy S6 and Note 4 are awesome. I myself would probably lean towards the Note 4 for the display size and the battery life. 5" is a good size but I've been really liking the 5.5" size and I bet that the Note 4's 5.7" is fine as well.

That whole Edge thing is ok... but it definitely is more of a gimmick than utility but that's just me... I don't see it justifying that higher price tag... that and I guess also due to my line of work and my random stints of clumsiness? I'm totally a protective case user. I've dropped my phone quite a couple of times and the OtterBox I have has definitely saved the screen... so I doubt there could be a protective case that is truly effective against drops of all angles... but to each their own, some people are all about that "wow" factor. :P

Well I don't live in America, so how do you think I'm going to know that? (It even says it in my bio)

I said as far as I'm aware... and you can always look on the side. This conversation is meaningless, let's just get on with our jobs and chores. Are you seriously still reading this? Come on now you're just wasting your time.
