Good 24" 144Hz 1MS response time gaming monitor?

Kros

Hey everyone! I am looking into building a new computer with possibly these new parts

CPU: i7 4790K

GPU: GTX  980 or Maybe a Titan X

Ram: 16GB 2400mhz Corsair

Mobo: Can't remember

PSU: Coolermaster 750 80+ Platinum

Case: NZXT H440 Red/Black

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent 24" (preferably) 1080P 144Hz 1ms Monitor. I was thinking if getting probably 3 to do some surround gaming on. All feedback is greatly appretiated! :D

if you decide against surround, I would suggest getting a 1440p monitor, no point getting a 980 or titan x etc to play games at a shitty 1080p

There are some 1440p 144hz IPS Gysnc panels coming out - my vote goes for them!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback, Should I downgrade to a 970 because I feel no need for 1440P just yet? Is a 980 still required if  I wanna make use if that 144Hz refresh rate I am going for if I were to get 3 of them? T

I don't understand the "no need for 1440p yet"  if you can afford to play at a higher resolution.. then why wouldn't you

If you are going for surround then yes 1080p would be the best option, especially if you want to get close to 144hz, you need the best GPU you can get

I mean I don't see the point of spending more money on slightly higher PPI when 1080p looks fine to me. Appreciate the response though :)

Night and day difference to me , its almost twice the number of pixels, but its your choice at the end of the day, :)

1440p surround is too much for one card though so 1080p surround would be the way forward

Thanks! I am considering just getting 1 1440P monitor for the moment and use my 2 other 1080p monitors until I can afford another 980 for possibly 3 1440P monitors.

That would be pretty epic :)

I got this one for my kids' Christmas gaming build

Can't say it's the "best" but it certainly works fine.

Although, if I were looking at spending $700+, rather than three of those I'd probably opt for one of these instead.
