what mods?

what do you mean blueprint?

if you're adding custom mods you're going to need to build your own blueprint.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Most of the mods I've made are solely out of necessity, a hole here or there for cabling or tubing or gerryfixing a solution to hold a reservoir/pump. Not really knowing what you're planning to 'mod' I don't see why you would need blueprints unless you're planning to completely rework a whole case but for 95% of people I imagine they're probably on the fly mods.

Hmm, can only get external size which is 17.30" x 8.30" x 17.70". And like what @js123 said, you could just wing it and do it as you go a long.

Maybe you could look at this and make a rough plan of what you want to do:

The thing is the manufacturers aren't going to publish detailed blueprints for their products, it doesn't make commercial sense to do so. I'm not saying don't plan your build but you might have to look around for a case and then wait til you have it to start planning and create your blueprint yourself.

I plan to wrap my next case with aluminum and change the side panel with full acrilic.

I want it looks like in win 904.

That's the idea.

So you really just need a bare-bones case which you can then finish to your own design? You're talking about a frame with the motherboard tray, drive cages and PSU holder?

Could you maybe look at something second-hand that might not be in the best aesthetic condition but you could just rip the panels off and respray the inside black or something and replace the side panel and mount your aluminium wrap around top/front?

yep.. i also think about that. but, so far, the one of the best layout for matx case is corsair 350D. or Phanteks Enthoo Evolv, but, who want to mod this case anyway hahaha.. it's cool already.

for that purpose, having the blueprint will be so helpful. coz aluminum is a bit too hard to be repaired if it doesn't fit on the case. that will be a pain in the ass.

Are you planning to apply the aluminium as a veneer to the existing panels? Or attempt to recreate the wrap-around effect of the InWin 904 and replace the panels?

The former would probably mean you could easily use aluminium sheets of much thinner material which would be easy to trim/work. The latter but probably be a custom job to get the aluminium bent into the shape you need or you would need to build a custom form to shape it yourself, I'm not really sure.

im planning to replace the front panel and wrapping around the case.

i found a workshop that probably can do that custom job on the aluminum, so that won't be a big problem i think.

but they ask me about case blueprints so they can do their job accurately.

You'll just have to measure the case yourself, there are a few 3d models of cases available but they usually don't have the accuracy you'll need.
