I just really want to know how to take full advantage of my internet. What do I need to get the best out of what I am paying for?

wired ethernet connection is the best of the best

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I understand that wired connection is better then wireless, but do routers have a big hand in internet speed?

Ok I understand now. So basically I can have all the best hardware but if my service I am paying for is wack then I am not getting the most of out my hardwar?

As long as you have ac routers/adapters for the most part you won't be limited
