Is this the G4 Note? (* update: new photo added)

snowComet

Yesterday a XDA user and a T-Mobile employee (according to xda-developers.com) s3rv1cet3ch leaked these images on the XDA forum, claiming this is the rumored LG G4 Note, an variant of the upcoming G4.

The G4 Note has been rumored for a while, as LG's answer to Samsung's Note series.  I believe this phone will release in 2nd half of 2015, as LG CEO Cho was quoted saying LG would unveil the next flagship smartphone, G4, in the second quarter, and another high-end product in the second half.

From these photos, the phone looks a lot like the G3, with the rear keys, slim bezels, the laser focus system, and others. The UI also looks very similar to that of the G Flex 2.In addition it seems this has a metal finish on the back cover, or the case is made of metal ( as it is hard to say whether the back cover is removable or not from these photos). It has been rumored for a while that LG will be using aluminium bodies in future iterations of their devices. Thus I won't be surprised if the phone casing is made of metal. (And it looks good too!!~~)

Also as s3rv1cet3ch stated, there seems to be a stylus on the top left of the phone. LG was found trademarked “G Pen” and “G Scrawl” ( "G Scrawl" possibly is the name of the software that work with the G Pen ). Together with the rumored Apple stylus that may announce alongside the iPad Pro in Sept, it seems we may have a "War on Stylus" in the second half of 2015.

It is still unconfirmed whether this phone is really G4 Note or not. But if the phone really looks this good, I would love to try, or even buy one.

*update on 28/03/2015

A new photo was shared, which revealed the stylus in its fully glory. And a new speculation saying this phone is either a early prototype of the G4, or a variant/upgrade of the G3 Stylus.

G4 Stylus; not Note unless they changed the name. But I'm pretty sure they still use Stylus

update: The photos in the photobucket account were all deleted. But before the photos were deleted, according to Engadget, s3rv1cet3ch shared another photo, which fully revealed the stylus. This proved that the little opening on the top left is really a stylus, not a Korean TV antenna as some speculated.

Also, some people noticed the term "M8936" in the baseband version in one of the photo. This suggests the phone has a Snapdragon 610, not a 810 chip. So some speculated, either this is an early prototype version of G4, or this is an variant/ upgraded version of the G3 Stylus.
