Make 5 iPhones one super iPhone?

babadoctor

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys think I could combine the processing power of 5 iPhones to make 1 more powerful "thing"! (Dont tell me it isnt possible because ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. In computing that is) If i was not clear i want your guys's opinions.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

It would basically equate to the processing power of a low power laptop chip or something along them lines though. The iPhones CPU isn't really all that great.

Also. Obligatory comment of wut

Solution: duct tape them together

Yes, it is possible, but no one has the time, tools, nor enough desire to actually do it.

Yup, They are pretty low powered units, but 10 low powered cores would be good for something I guess, Just not sure what

While theoretically possible to turn 10 iPhones (or any phone for that matter) into a single, more powerful machine, it would be extremely impractical, time consuming, and expensive.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

If you could some how buy a OnePlusOne and put IOS on it.  Thats 5x the power right there.

(I'm allowed to say that.  I use an iPhone)

SUPER cost ineffective... you could get something that does as much processing that uses less power for cheaper and you probably wouldn't have to program something to do it.

G3258 @ 4.5 | 8GB Team Vulcan RAM | 128GB Kingston V300 SSD (I didn't know what I was doing when I bought it) | MSI H81I Motherboard | Corsair H55 with Noctua NF-P12 | EVGA SSC GTX 960 4GB | OCZ 550W Fully Modular PSU with Noctua NF-A14 | Cooler Master Elite 130 (Soon to be something cool)
