how to make a fanless profile for amd gpus?

so ive been looking around and cant seem to find this anywhere else except for nvidia cards , but could someone point me in the direction of how to make a fanless profile for my r9 290x ? (apologies if this is a double post or it was somewhere else , if so throw me a link )

I wouldn't honestly.. that card runs very hot (relative).

The projects never end in my line of work.

It runs at room temp? At what RPM on the fans?

It runs at room temp? At what RPM on the fans?

 

 

my room temp is about 30 , and irts only 5 degrees hotter then room , and the fans wont go bellow 1300 rpm

What R9 290x? Because I did one for my R9 280 gaming and its hardware limited for the min fan speed to 800RPM min. but it never uses more then a 11% fan speed underload.

That's why it's that low... 1300 rpm is pretty quick.

 

But as KingCry said, it depends on which 290x

ive got a diamond r9 290x (version 2 with the "custom" pcb and aftermarket cooler) you know of any software or bios editor i can use ?

true , but the max reported speed is an annoying 3900 rpm lol kills the ears , and true ... i was hoping i would be able to make my own bios and hack it in somehow

Yeah you can try and use the VBE7 Tool It worked with my 280 and a few 280x's I haven't tried it on Hawaii GPU's yet
