Is PNY a good SSD company?

Profoundsoup

I was going to buy a 480gb PNY SSD from my local best buy because I need it ASAP and I was wondering if they are a good company to buy from?

my SSD is a PNY actually. works great.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

I've had bad experience with my PNY product. But could just be one of those odd products that just doesn't work. But from what I've seen PNY SSDs are great.

They're alright, but I think they did the same bait and switch thing with their Optima SSD's that Kingston did with their V300's.

they did? wtf :S

kingston are all time cunts for doing what they did with their ssd's, why another company would follow suit is beyond me

PNY is a decently well known company, I wouldn't say they are the best, but  they arn't bad, I would call them a good second tier company

I put a 120GB PNY SSD in my dad's PC. It has been working smoothly and without any hassle.
