Why did you bought a gaming laptop?

centurion_08

Share a reason or two. Why did you bought a gaming laptop.

What were your pros and cons before buying one.

I thinking about buying an Asus ROG G751 980m version.

Because I didn't want to lug around a desktop to play something when I have to go run a show

Less powerful hardware, but portable and multipurpose for being on the road :P

Convenience of mobility is the only reason, really, desktops are better in all other aspects.

I went to a friend once in a while and having to move a desktop would be a pretty big annoyance. Not to mention the roads where I used to live would destroy the insides of a desktop like a bear fighting a kitten without legs.

I'm telling the truth! I AM a 12 year old girl!

Because all my travelling for work brings me to places in the middle of nowhere. To maintain my sanity in the hotel, I need my gaming laptop. xD

Last gaming notebook I bought was an Alienware M11x, was great for sixth form since it meant I could spend my free periods playing L4D2.

Need mobility, need a larger screen and enjoy a more powerful system.  That pretty much leaves "gaming" laptops as the only thing to look at.

We sold our house, decided to go traveling for a while. My gaming desktop had to go in storage, and I decided to buy a laptop (a Clevo P151EM1). I realized I really couldn't stand the idea of being without a computer for anytime longer than a month.

Got it due to a promotion when I sign up for my internet in the past. Reason for getting it is mainly so that I can go over to my friend's place to game together.
