I'll put it this way, this was how Nintendo arranged their floor space at E3 last year.....

It's a new Nintendo IP and it's being developed by one of their younger teams. Wii U exclusive, in a nutshell it's a game that's half Team Fortress and half Super Mario Sunshine/Galaxy

Splatoon is going to be awesome.  Definitely is something a little different and no surprise that something different would come from Nintendo.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Yeah this might be the first must have on the wii u, looks cool how you aim with the motion control, saw some press that said it was almost like mouse control. Hoping for something to convince me that that console is worth owning

The other thing they said is it was like playing titanfall for the first time, im really mad that people bailed out of that game so soon, hopefully the sequel is more successful

Yeah, Nintendo has a few games which control like that on both Wii U and 3DS. They let you use either the second stick or the gyro and you automatically think "motion controls are stupid"... but then five seconds late you find yourself using the gyro. It's kinda like if you took the precision of a mouse and didn't take away the fact that your hands naturally shake a bit.

I read one preview about it where they claimed it would "do to shooters what Mario Kart did to Racing and Smash Bros did to fighters". And if it's that good and that different a take on it? Reason to be a bit hyped about it. Not sure if it's worth getting a Wii U for on its own but I'm definitely picking it up as someone who has a Wii U.

I personally am really hyped for this game and it can't come out soon enough ^^
but I have to talk to my network admin so I can actually use my WiiU for online gaming .... But this will be resolved soon hopefully ^^

I like, that they went with "no In-game voice-chat" ... It anoys me in every game I play with it ... most people in there want to just insult each other or scream rediculous things, so the feature of voice chat becomes pretty much useless .....
I hope, you can post pre done text messeges in real time, to interact with your team mates ^^

Other than that, I hope they add even more playmodes to it, because I think that there is plenty of potential for this game and Nintendo could actually do to shooters what they did to racing games, if they pull it off the right way.

I think this game looks like a lot of fun and holds  a lot of potential. could see this being a really fun FPS to relax into or start a child on the path of being a FPS player with this game.
