Hi so I recently bought a I5 4570s and it runs at around 75-80 on load and the stock fan stays silent is this a problem, should I get a aftermarket cooler?

thats to hot

you didn't mount it tight enough

if you can afford it yes...get a 212 evo

or something else if that one is too big for your case

That's not bad on a stock cooler, could be better, but not in the danger zone (read that in archers voice)

Always nice to get a aftermarket cooler for better temps though.

75-80 is a ways off from hurting your chip.

80C is bit on the hot side. But if its not up there or over it whole time you are doing something CPU heavy, then you are fine with stock cooler. You could check if you can improve airflow inside case. Like with better cable management or extra fans. Then again, buying cheap aftermarket cooler is almost as expensive as getting 2 new good fans.

when  you say under load...how long does it have to be under load to reach 80C

and how many fans in the case

the last i5 I installed with the stock cooler ran at like 38-43C on idle..and like up to 65-70C on load after like 30-45mins
