should I be worried?

I started thinking of building a gaming PC in November 2014 and have been researching a little here and there, I've been watching a lot how-to-build guides too. I have just ordered my parts this morning and now I'm worried I might screw something up or a part will come in dead with my luck. Also I'm only 13 years old going to be 14 next week, but sense my parents have invested a good amount of money into it I don't want to screw it up, what do you suggest I do, not be worried?

dont worry bro. :) *side hug*

*walks you to one of linus' old build guides*

just follow the steps exactly, and ask questions as you go.

we're happy to help. :D

Watch out for each other. Love everyone and forgive everyone, including yourself. Forgive your anger, forgive your guilt. Your shame. Your sadness. Embrace and open up your love, your joy, your truth, and most especially your heart.

The biggest thing I'm worried about is putting the iga 1150 cpu in its socket and putting the cooler master 212 evo over it

lol, i followed a youtube video, its easy, its not going to blow up on you :) 2 hours you will be done with the whole thing, a week later you might go in for a hour to tidy up cables. Its really plug a play mostly. Have worked on a car yet, its about as hard as a oil change. Your last math test was harder.

I think it's pretty much the scariest part. it's true that it look super scary the first time but really don't worry if you aren't rushing everything and you put it upside down than push on it, there is literally no way you can break it even putting it upside down isn't gonna kill it if you don't push on it. the most important thing is just that you take your time for this step look at the triangle align the two and just drop it in ^^. Well Good luck for it bro I wish you will have an awsome time for your first build

If the hardware is all brand new and order from a reputable source like Newegg then don't worry. Worst thing that can happen is you get a dead piece of hardware. If that's the case you can just RMA it and they will just send you a new one. Other than that building computers is a piece of cake. To most people they think it's hard like operation but really its not. Parts will only fit in one spot so it's pretty much hard coded telling you what goes where. The hardest part is picking out the hardware and making sure it's all compatible.

Don't worry.

Spend time reading the manuals(if you don't have the parts yet, download them off internet).

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

It's going to be fine man.

Some tips:

Don't start panicking when building it, you will lose focus and make mistakes. If you think you have made a mistake, calm down and come here to see if you've done something wrong or not.

If something doesn't fit, don't force it.

If you are unsure of something, again, come here and ask us.

And most importantly, have a fuck load of fun :D

Relax, don't panic. If you aren't sure what to do check the manual, if you're still confused you can check this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsyxM_j3Y4U&list=PL02HDVnTgIcpNJxKroA2Ls05DdRuOLVag&index=1

Your age is actually advantage. At your age we used to make our experiments with 230V peeking from the other room, where as nowadays I use my tongue to check live wires. Linus has covered whole topic and you can always ask us if you run into problems.

And wait when you get it done..

When the going gets weirdthe weird turn pro.

Its not to hard things don't break that easily but if you are to worried you can go ask your father or mother to help or

visit a PC store because they will do it properly plusThey might do it for free or very cheap. :)

CPU is way easier than it looks. Just remember to line it up and that they are design with Zero Insertion Force in mind, meaning you should not push down on it, it should just click into place.

Try not to over complicate things, a first time build can be very overwhelming but you can do it. Just pay attention and go slow. If you've watched linus' build guides like you say just pull one up while your building your rig and follow along. Good luck

Whelp forgot to include a drain valve in my loop, there's always next time.
