How do you store your gear at home?

How do you store your camera gear and accessories at home??

So far I keep my gear in the extra camera bags I own. Looking to change that once I buy new furniture.

I just have a tiny little Nikon S9500 point 'n' shoot, so I just use a fanny pack to store what little gear I own.

I have a camera backpack.  So far I keep everything in that.  I keep my bulky stuff in my closet.  Like tripods and reflectors.

I really want to get a pelican case for all my camera gear though.  something waterproof and sturdy.

...Just on the tripod. It gets thrown in a suitcase when travelling, wrapped in some clothes.

I do more video work than photography, but I keep the bigger stuff like tripods in the corner of my closet and the smaller stuff on a few shelves in the closet.  I also have a charging station (ok, it's pretty much just an extension cord) that all the batteries I have live at between shoots.  I like to be able to see everything and keep the gear somewhat organized.  I do also have a bin of miscellaneous camera stuff that a lot of random little things get thrown into.

The only gear I don't have connected to my PC is my cameras. I keep the camera bags on a shelf and the cameras and lenses on "Display" on my desk in a way that I think looks nice.

what l lens

still in doubt since a proper workstation/pc has priority atm.

but im thinking about the EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM lens, i have a kind of weakspot for zoom lenses with big range.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

What do you mean . . . "sort of organized." lol

Always meant to get a proper hard case to store my gear. So far my gear is spread across three bags and it sucks.

That looks like a rather tight fit

I don't have much, so it's pretty much wherever. My tripod is in the top shelf of my room's closet, and the very rarely used Chinese copy of the gorillapod tripod is pretty much permanently in the additional small PALS utility pouch on the side of my backpack (Mil-Tec Assault pack). Memory cards are wherever (usually inside the cameras already), 2 of my cameras (Canon 1000D and Sony DSC RX100) are on both sides of my PC's monitor on the computer desk plus my video camera (Sony HDR CX260VE) is on the second top shelf of my closet, and my only additional lens for the 1000D (EF 50mm f/1.8 II) is on a small shelf with only a gas mask filter next to it... lol.

I don't have a camera bag; if I have to carry either the DSLR or the video camera with me, I'll usually just shove either in the medium sized PALS utility pouch the backpack (1000D fits barely with the kit lens and the strap. No cushioning, though) and have the tripod hanging on the side of the backpack (if I need it). Though I rarely use either nowadays because of the RX100 that I can just shove in a pocket and go, and it's better than both of them.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

In my extra bags and a few plastic boxes.

My day-to-day backpack is a Lowepro Fastpack 250. It has enough room for pretty much all my current gear. My extra cables, cards, cleaning, caps, parts, etc get stored in small Ikea-purchased boxes. I also have a small organizer pouch that every mobile and computer adapter you can imagine, batteries, chargers, etc That gets thrown into whatever bag Im using that day.

My quick pack is a Lowepro messenger style bag. Still like it, but, I have been using a backpack more and it suits me better.

Depending where you live in the world there's different ways to to store your equipment, I personally justs tore my equipment in camera bags and boxes, but if you live in say Hong Kong, you should always put it in a dehumidifier box.
