Questions For Roku or Amazon Fire TV Stick Owners

For those of you who own a Roku (any version) or an Amazon Fire TV Stick, do you guys see any ads, or have to wait for ads to finish playing before being able to watch videos? If so, are there any plugins that can be installed to block them?

 

Is it possible to block porn sites from showing up in the search results? Is there something like a rating system to filter the search results by?

 

Also, I am hearing that the Roku 4 is to come out at anytime, but have been considering one of the current devices.

no ads on my roku 3 unless you count hulu plus then yes theres ad's on that. edit: i never even knew you could find porn on the roku actually.

I have the Fire TV not the fire TV stick.  but no add's on it.  I pretty much just watch amazon prime on it though.  I would imagine youtube still probably has its embedded ads just like on a PC.. but i havn't tried.

 

 

Blocking search results - I don't know since i'm only ever really in amazon's app.
