Need help with SSD cleaning.

LuLWaT

And all of a sudden, BAM. 21.2GB free of 111GB

The only things I manually installed are software such as Steam or Chrome. I don't know how it has gotten so full. I have removed 1GB with CCleaner but dont know what else to do. Any help? Thanks ! :)

Just remove everything you don't really use.

You got your steam games on it? Because if steam is on the SSD the steam games are installed on it as well. (unless you change the path to another drive)

Run WinDirStat, find the biggest files, make sure they're unimportant, and remove them from the drive. Chances are, it's the hibernation and pagefile.

Hmmm, do what @Jade said as well as @Enderman. They are good solutions

Hey LuLWaT,

You can move your pagefile to the HDD and try using the Disk Cleanup tool from the options menu in My Computer. Other than that I would recommend seeing what takes that much space in your SSD and manually moving or deleting it. It is recommended that you have 12%-15% of free space in order for the SSD to work optimally (caching purposes). The OS should take up around 35GB.

Just remove the unessential files that you dont need or get a new sdd, Personally id raid them in 0 because i back up my files regularly (to my hdd) and i dont worry about data loss but choose what ever one caters to your personal uses

Where are your steam games installed that might be a cause, also have you moved your page file? If not move that to your fastest large drive that is internal.
