What is best to use for cable management in your PC?

legend8887

Zip ties look best IMO and I don't redo my cables much.

G3258 @ 4.5 | 8GB Team Vulcan RAM | 128GB Kingston V300 SSD (I didn't know what I was doing when I bought it) | MSI H81I Motherboard | Corsair H55 with Noctua NF-P12 | EVGA SSC GTX 960 4GB | OCZ 550W Fully Modular PSU with Noctua NF-A14 | Cooler Master Elite 130 (Soon to be something cool)

My cables are a mess in the back, I don't see why it matters to have something organized you will never see.

Just make sure there isn't a heap of cables in one spot that would push the panel out, that is the extent of my cable management in the back.

Shit looks clean AF where you can see and there is as little airflow obstruction as humanly possible.

Explain why.

My absolute favorite are theses flat clamps since I have sleeved cables they keep them somewhat in order when routing and is very flat so they cable mange very well,

Zip-ties

I'm kinda OCD about bunching together all of the cables in little bunches...

I love Velcro straps. Larger ones can really help with a bulk amount of wires.

I have so much clutter because my case has no cable management in mind.

Thank god I have a modular PSU, so i don't have a huge mess. Still a mess.

these, the gpu anti-sagg stands by pugit systems and a good case and smart planning will make even the ugliest of systems look great.

at least you have an easy way of locking the expansion slots. i have to use a stupidly long screwdriver that's narrow enough, since most of my screwdrivers are too fat to fit the hole, same with my screws.

Oh, and there's this bar that's driving me  insane. It's near the top of the case on the inside, obviously. It gets in the way of EVERYTHING. Putting the PSU in is a pain in the ass, and don't get me started with installing the CPU cooler. It took me close to 3 hours just to dust my system and replace my thermal paste, usually a 30 minute job, no thanks to that stupid bar.

oh, you have no idea how figdety that system is...

oh! no seriously i take it over using tools any day... but... its a 50/50 chance i'll be working on the slots for an hour each... xD

i actually kinda like it when cases have those bars. :D making your own anit-sagg gpu holder thingys is easier with it, also lets you make a PSU cover more easily. (so you can hide all those nasty cables and your ugly PSU if thats your case)

But if you plan not to mod, it just gets in the way. There's not point. I"m thinking of hacksawing it off. It's just a fucking bother that doesn't need to be there. Besides, i have a GT610, so GPU sag isn't an issue, and i don't need a PSU cover, even if I'm ashamed since it's a raidmax 630w unit.
