GPU or Sound Card for HTPC

So I'm debating between putting a GPU or a sound card into this HTPC. I do plan on hooking this up to a 4K TV later on down the run. Intel say the onboard igpu can handle 4K playback but can it?

I'd get a 970 if possible, but 960, if you want it. Sound can be handled by a chip on your mobo, you only need a sound card if your audio sounds like total shit, no matter what you try

well Idk about your IGPU maybe if its Iris

about the sound card go for something like this http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards/Xonar_HDAV13_Deluxe/ (its old try to find a hdmi 2.0 or 1.4)

but I recommenf or hdmi out from GPU or spdif out from Mbo
