Have you seen the all new ASUS ROG G501?

Tell me if you are interested in a review/unboxing video + thread about it on LTT. I’ll be more than happy to post a review and unboxing video + thread about this all new laptop! Just say the word and I’ll get one and review it! (Please be sure to include it in your post on this thread yes/no about the ASUS ROG G501 review + unboxing video and thread.

What is the ASUS ROG Nomad Backpack?

ROG Nomad is a backpack that’s built for gamers. Lightweight, rugged and stylish, Nomad can carry a 17-inch notebook in style while its internal suspension system keeps your precious cargo safe when you’re on the move. Generous shoulder padding lets you carry heavy loads in comfort, but you won’t work up a sweat before you get to your game thanks to its ventilated design.

Why did I get this backpack?

This backpack review would be a continuation from THIS review which is based on the ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71 review. I travel a lot and I'm a professional gamer for Major League Gaming so to be able to bring the essentials including my ASUS 17.3" laptop in the same bag is a huge bonus. I don't like carrying more than one bag when I travel and I literally fit all of my gaming essentials in this what bag. You might ask, what are the gaming essentials? I'll list them below.

- ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71 17.3" Gaming Laptop

- ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71 Power Brick + Wall Adapter

- iPhone 6 Plus Phone Charger

- iPhone 6 Plus

- 2 External Hard Drives (1TB)

- Astro A40 Headset

Don't think it's possible to fit all of that in a bag? Here's an example (Beware of the large images)

Pros:

  • Fits everything that I need when I travel
  • Straps that you can strap around your body when you travel

Cons:

  • Bulky when fully packed (Like any other backpack, maybe next time make the backpack a little slimmer and introduce the ROG Nomad 2.0)

The price though :S I could buy a good climbing backback for that price. Looks well built though, so hey. What game do you professionally play @Slayher ? I'm curious!

And yeah, I'd like a review of the asuspro although I probably can't afford one ^^

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I stream for Major League Gaming, I don't really play any game professionally but I used to play Call of Duty competitively (Console FPS)

My stream is located at MLG.tv/Slayher if interested.

Keep on requesting the review! :D

Holy christ the price?! Is it made of solid gold or something?

Even though I'm not a gamer, if I had a laptop, tablet and the other things this can hold I would buy this in a heartbeat. It's not that expensive, especially for how much it holds.

I have a 90lt backpack that was cheaper than this ^^ well made, too. I can see the build quality being a seller as opposed to capacity.

You have to see the features of this backpack, it's not about the price range.

I personally hate carrying more than 1 backpack when I travel, I usually carry 2 or 3 now all I do is carry this backpack and travel with it.

It holds more than what I need to go to events that I attend which is great for me personally.

The build quality is phenomenal, it's made of 1680D ballistic nylon ad the weight of the backpack with everything inside isn't bad as well which is good for traveling.

I just checked it out, it looks pretty cool.

The ASUS one seems to have more protection and be bulkier which is better for traveling imo.
