I have an Apple PowerMac G4 tower I can't bring myself to part with, its so power hungry and slow I can't realistically use it for anything but it was the first ever machine I owned from new and paid for with my own money... Perhaps I'll be able to mod a new mATX build into it some day.

I'm on a horse...

I have 4 IDE hard drives i can never part with. Also have my 5200FX as well as my old SCSI hard drive and of course, my current system. My SCSI was so loud when it was spinning up though, and it's only like 30GB.

I've got an old Intel cpu that sits on my desk from my first computer. I've also got a 560 Ti that is still it use from my first custom build but when it gets retired that card will be on my desk too. Now i've got to figure out if/what I should keep from this build although nothing will be retired for at least a few years, haha. Here's some pics of the cpu and gpu.

I've got one of those Celeron 500, and a Celeron 433. I never really used them because my 300A at 450MHz was a lot faster.

Its the same for me and my GTX 650ti OC 2G Windforce X2 (re 2.0), that 'ol faithful is perfect for my old IPS 85Hz monitor from around 2003-2004. And it stays dead silent with the fans at 30%.

I can't believe someone takes the time to do that for two graphics cards.

I could barely part with my Note 3 when upgrading to the Note 4, but I did.

I'm still using a 60GB SSD that when I upgrade from it, I'll probably play around with Linux on it.

I've only had one PSU and surprisingly it's the only thing in my build that's always just worked.

I still have my Radeon HD 6570 back from when that could game pretty decently

And I'll never part with my 1985 (made in 1992) IBM Model M.

Sig under construction.

It was hard to part with my old Pentium 4 system. I had little stuff to do with it, but I still had a bond with it. Case is most likely an AOpen H500A.

Specs:

Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.0GHz (one of the first from 2003)

Asus P4P800-VM motherboard

2GB DDR RAM (only 1.5GB available, still a lot for the time)

Asus V7700 GeForce2 GTS/Pro 32MB (used to have an Point of View FX 5200 128MB but I accidentally dropped it)

20GB Maxtor + 80GB IBM Deskstar HDDs

Windows XP SP3 32-bit (later ran it in dual-boot with Lubuntu)

Some obligatory pics:

In the BIOS with you!

Big mess. "Cable management? What's that?" Anyway, the case had no cable management.

Around the back.

Laptop: Intel Core i5-4200H, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce 840M

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti
