Can my build handle it?

Hi everybody,

So I have this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rxbcP6

System

  • CPU
    Intel Core i7-4790K
  • Motherboard
    ASRock Z97 Extreme6
  • RAM
    Crucial Ballistix Tactical 2X8GB BLT2CP8G3D1869DT1TX0
  • GPU
    Gigabyte GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD
  • Case
    Fractal Design Define R5
  • Storage
    2x Samsung SpinPoint T166 HD321HJ + 2tb samsung + Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
  • PSU
    Seasonic Platinum Series 660 Watt
  • Display(s)
    Samsung Syncmaster 245B+ / Philips 32PFL8404H
  • Cooling
    Scythe Mugen 4
  • Sound
Cambridge SoundWorks Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT2200
  • Operating System
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
  •

(I can't seem to find the television on PCPartPicker so here is a Dutch site with the specs: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/238087/philips-32pfl8404h/specificaties/ )
I want to upgrade to the Asus Republic Of Gamers Swift PG278Q (I believe we all know it, but here is) PCPP

And a LG 40UB800V (also on the Dutch site, because I am Dutch! Specs shouldn't be to diffrent from english) http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/418994/lg-40ub800v-zilver-zwart/specificaties/

Now, my question is: Can my system handle it, if I use the Asus ROG for gaming and the LG for watching movies?
Obviously not at the same time, but I will have both of them on.

I mostly game ARMA III and Tera Online.

Budget is €1175,- I guess since that is what it's going to cost me. And I life in The Netherlands.

My idle temps for my cpu are 29°/30°/29°/27° celcius and GPU temp at idle is 29° celcius.

This upgrade is for better monitor and television enjoyment and a sharper image.

Do I need an other Gigabyte GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD in a 2-way sli? Or will this system stand strong?

Like to hear any advice!

Greetings from Bram :)

Honestly your over thinking it. They are just monitors, a hamster could drive them( well if a hamster had a graphics card)

so yeah they should work fine.

Honestly, if you're playing Arma 3 don't worry too much about 144Hz.  FPS is determined by the amount of objects, AI, script lag, server FPS, and other factors.

But it's still an awesome monitor for games which can actually get that much FPS.

Are you telling me that hamsters dont have graphics cards?

Thanks everybody for responding!
Concluding out of all the responses I've got nothing to worry about. I might want a hamster just to keep me company :)

Cheers!
