No Fallout 4 but Bethesda unveiled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is an "all-new standable prequel" to Wolfenstein: The New Order, and will be made available digitally on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on May 5, for just $19.99. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood has players taking their hero BJ Blazkowicz "back to the year 1946 in an adventure that spans eight chapters and two interconnected stories (released together) that will lead into the events you know and love from The New Order".

i guess Bethesda cant count to 4

 

anyways i bet even if they released it in a few years it will still have load of bugs

I never played fallout, I played wolf 3D and return the castle and I can say they were pretty good when I wasn't getting a headache.

There's a difference between milking a franchise and spacing out games evenly, but this is just dumb.

Bethesda is publishing Wolfenstein, not developing it. The release of this game doesn't affect their main studios development cycle.

Disappointed! I only care about Fallout. :(

 

They were foolish for not announcing the next game.

Great. Now its not just DICE/Visceral who are releasing DLC as a "new" game. It seems that the PC Master Race may be facing a possible epidemic of the Cod disease.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P

But Fallout New Vegas came out in 2010.

Could they still announce another Fallout game or is their press conference over. It would have been really cool if they had announced Wolfy and Fallout at the same time. They still owned the stage with Wolfy though, The New Order was easily the best game of last year.

To be fair, the price on this is well below that of 'full' games. This reminds me very much of old expansion packs for PC games back in the day. The biggest difference? This doesn't require you to have the other game installed saving hard drive space for several people (mainly those with consoles) and possibly saving many with terribly low internet speeds to download 40 GB all over again if they had deleted the game.

Wolfenstein is developed by a different studio under the Zenimax/Bethsoft corporate umbrella than the Fallout/TES IPs. There's still a chance that fallout 4 will be announced at e3.
