This is more than enough for those games.

You could easily down grade to (as much as people are going to freak at me) a good AMD rig, and be perfectly fine.

You will have to check local pricing and availability. Pretty much everything is black. The cpu cooler water block and case can both display purple lighting. The memory was selected because of the purple band it sports. All good quality parts. Running 24/7 should not be a problem.

1 more thing 970 has issue with ram so you basicly have 3,5gb of ram and big resoultions need more ram. I think i wil go with pair of 290x with 8 gig buffer. or a r9 295x2.

I think the odd memory organization of the GTX 970 has been blown out of proportion to the actual problem. Take a look at the data presented in https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_980_SLI/1.html. The performance of GTX 970 is actually pretty competitive around the resolution you will be using, despite its memory organization.

Choose what you feel comfortable with, but you will want a larger psu if you go AMD.

I haven't seen 1000W mentioned anywhere else in the thread. It would certainly be enough for a single R9 295X. It might be a little tight for twin R9 290X if they and the cpu were being overclocked.

ended up taking Xeon e5 1650v3

asus x99e-ws

2x 16gb 4x4 pc4 19200/ ddr4 2400mhz

cooler master v1200 platinum psu

seagate 6tb hdd sed fips 4k native 7200 rpm for video storage.

and logitech g27 :D

i wil reuse my ssd hdd cooler and case for now. I wil sell my old components and do later upgrade i am stil using 1 290x (one died in some kind of huge fps drops) and i got 34 fps in ets2 :D. wil use a 390x in cfx when they come out and new case with purple fans and corsair rgb keyboard and mause.
