Hey, whenever I try to open Steam it always says "Steam needs to be online to update". I've tried re-installing, deleting all the stuff except for those two things. Help me please!!!!!!!!

make sure steam is added to the windows firewall exceptions

Also seem some Malware causing this problem recently. Make sure to give AdwCleaner and HitmanPro a run for good measure.

What should I do?

Everything that the others suggested lol.

Also make sure that you set your status to online; because that screwed me over once too.
