Someone help with some Korean cheap, but good, 4K panel?

Prastupok

So, as a lot of you know, I just did my build on The Guinness:

RqXV6ii.jpg?1

And now I want a 4K panel. I have a bunch of the 29UB65 21:9 panels, but I want a 4K one for gaming. I'm not willing to spend as much as I did for my NEC MultiSync pro-grade one, but I know they have some good, cheap, Korean ones... someone link me one they can personally recommend? (60Hz would be great)

The projects never end in my line of work.

Probably around 600 bucks.

Edit: It doesn't have to be Korean, but I know most of the cheap ones are :P

There's not really much reason to recommend either of those when you can get an IPS 4K monitor for around the same price range like the Dell P2715Q.

I mean, honestly I'd like to spend less, but the balance between price and quality is touchy.

Actually... I'm going to switch my question:

Best 1440p monitor for the lowest price while still maintaining quality, so I could buy a few :P

Yeah I mean, I don't think the Korean makers have really started going crazy with 4K panels yet. You'd have to wait for that.

The BenQ GW2765HT is going for a great price on Amazon right now if you're in the US.

He asked for a gaming monitor, the pb287q delivers. If he had asked for a professional screen then I'd have recommended something else.

PB2xxQ aren't generally that great for the price at any point. There's better IPS 4K panels that will do just as well for gaming.

The IPS alternatives have more ghosting and latency. Perfectly fine for most things, but if you're looking for a pure gaming monitor it's not ideal... although since I informed myself for mine (6+ months ago) the scene may have changed considering there weren't that many reviews of other stuff.

I'm not a pro gamer. It's not that important that it's gaming-grade. I use IPS monitors all day every day, so I'm used to those.

If OP's looking for a Korean (well known for (re)using IPS/PLS panels) monitor in the first place then chances are he's not looking for a mind-blowing gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time

There isn't really "pure" gaming, it's what types of games you play. OP hasn't specified this.

Not really, only on paper. The Dells have been measured at around 10-12ms of latency which is extremely low, and certainy below the threshold of being at all noticeable or having an effect on gaming. Response time is slower than a TN, but it's fast for an IPS panel and the ghosting difference between a TN and a fast IPS isn't really noticeable. Like I said, the difference is only on paper.
