Anyone else confirm this?

Works for me. Also, with the amount of servers they have, I seriously doubt that they'd ever go offline. May be something wrong on your end.

I can access Google just fine. Have you tried restarting your computer, router, and/or modem?

I have not and it seems that all websites I visit are messing up :S

Whenever Google appears down for anyone anywhere, it is usually a DNS hiccup.

 

ipconfig /flushdns

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

I noticed that their DNS was a bit shaky recently. Not that I use it, but Net Uptime Monitor does and it had trouble polling 8.8.8.8 yesterday

Are you on a school network? My school accidentally blocked Google the other day as every search returned a "server not available" error.

If every single server that have in every single country is down, then yes they would be offline. But that is most likely never going to happen.

I once read that if google and Amazon would should down all their servers, only 40% of the internet would still work. That is crazy, they got all the power over the internet.

Well IDK about Amazon, they have a lot of server services that a lot of people use. Google has so many things from Email services to social media to data infrastructure. Google could easily take over the freaking world.

 

Its insane how powerful they have become.
