Go to solution Solved by 4ndrew,

Something like this would be great to boot from: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/landing/flash-voyager-gtx

Plus then you can use all of your programs and files on any pc!

Im just wondering if instead of a hdd or ssd. I use a usb as my drive. I know it wouldnt be practical. But just wondering if thats possible?

That's fairly impracticable. USB drives still aren't as fast as a SATA connection and the dollar to gigabyte ratio is much higher on USB drives. You'll spend less for more storage and faster speeds on an actual internal drive

It's possible. just make sure that you boot into the bios and select the usb as your intended boot location. Good luck!
