help with my build - trying to follow theme without compromising performance

Syxx
Hi Guys,

So basically, I'm planning to build a gaming rig and friends and some other people suggested the build that i have below. The problem is that parts for mobo, cpu cooler and memory that they suggested are different or does not follow the preferred theme. So im having a hard time to decide which to use.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($219.75 @ OutletPC)

Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($99.98 @ OutletPC)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($49.89 @ OutletPC)

Video Card: Palit GeForce GTX 970 4GB JetStream Video Card

Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($67.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($67.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($87.75 @ OutletPC)

Suggested Mobo: I wanted a blue theme since mouse is a logitech g502 and my keyboard is roccat isku fx(multi-collored but planning to use it as blue)
