Cheap study laptops

So I started university, and I require a laptop.
I'm not very rich so I need a cheap laptop around $500-600 NZD and it only needs to run a few adobe programs (it doesn't have to do well with them, just needs to run em)

Anyone have any recommendations, keep in mind that laptops found in your country may not be available in nz.

Can you point us in a direction of online retailers you'd buy from? (like Amazon or NewEgg but their New Zealand counter parts.)

The HP stream 11 and 13 are pretty good at that price, not sure if you can run Adobe programs on a chromebook but there pretty good for the price too

I'd say, the best Asus i3 or i5 laptop you can get for that money. They're robust, can definitely take a beating and pretty good over time except for made some issues with the trackpad. My K53E has been through hell (2 major drops, hot tea over the keyboard) since I got it three years ago and it's still kicking.
