I didn't see that. ans as luck would have it I'm in australia too, and know where to get parts. I'll put up a build once I've got everything priced.

Is there a reason you want Intel? You can get a quad core AMD CPU for cheaper than the dual core i3 you posted.

Cause Intel is better and for gaming while AMD sucks and for multitasking and for business and jobs....

More cores does not equal better, especially when said cores get beaten by the cores in an E8500 that is 4 years older. An i3 has 2 cores and 4 threads, and easily outperforms an FX 4300-it even trades blows with an FX 8350.

lol, nice title change.

BTW, do you live near Brisbane, there is a store near Mt Gravatt that I've found to be quite good (www.computeralliance.com.au).

Cores don't mean much. There are a lot of people who don't know that. If that was the case then AMD would smash Intel. People say quad core Intel is better than 8 core amd

Intel cpu

No.

Knowing how high prices can be in AUD I would rather go with something like an 860k.

By limiting yourself to an intel CPU you are also limiting the rest of the computer build's potential.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I'll figure something out, could you wait 2-3 hours? (on the train and this laptops battery is nearly flat).
