Is there a way to run Clash of Clans on my PC on a Private Server?

OrangeFlavoured

Is there a way to run a version of Clash of Clans on my PC with infinite gems and whatever so I can mess about with bases?

No

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

nope. Unless you can somehow mod it to run on your PC and not android and to somehow setup an unofficial server for a game that is still regulated.

I could play on Clash of Clans on a private server on my iPad, but it broke, so it is possible for some sort of thing.

Yeah.

Sniff the packets, emulate the server and modify the data you're sending back.

Long process of doing it yourself, if someone hasn't done it already.

I don't mean hacking for gems, I mean a private server where I can mess about.

You aren't getting the point. You can join a private server to mess about on that isn't in any way related to the official CoC server by modifying the DNS code on iOS, but I want to know if I can do that on PC.

You can download BlueStacks. It basically emulates an Android Tablet into your pc. ;)

Is there a way to join a private server though? Can I just modify Windows's host file?

You have the "Ultrapowa Clash Server" that is still under development but seems to be what you are looking for. However, I don't know how this tool works...

Not really a fan of BlueStacks, you don't have direct access to the Play Store, and you have to keep downloading bullsh*t apps to keep using it for free. It works for the time being, but I'm actively looking for a better alternative.

(BTW, the only way to access the Play Store directly that I've found is to go to the web browser, navigate to "play.google.com" and select to open with the Pklay Store application when the window pops up asking which app to use. Pain in my rear.)

I just open the WhatsApp under "Top Apps" then click the back button ;)
