Phanteks Enthoo Primo fan hub troubles

Aloranax

I have connected fans to the fan hub coming with the case. The fan hub takes power from my motherboards(GA-Z97X-SOC Force) CPU-Fan header. The problem is that when I want to see if the PWM actually works, my CPUID HWMonitor displays 0% activity from "Fans PWM" under the motherboard. Just so you know, the fans ARE spinning, I just don't know if they have the same speed all the time. When I play BF4 my components run hotter(understandably), but I can't hear any difference in fan noice which would indicate that the fans are sticking to the same speed. Please help me solve this! :)

Fan monitor data from CPUID HWMonitor:

Hardware monitor    ITE IT8620
    Voltage 0    0.34 Volts [0x1C] (CPU VCORE)
    Voltage 1    1.99 Volts [0xA6] (VIN1)
    Voltage 2    1.99 Volts [0xA6] (+3.3V)
    Voltage 3    3.35 Volts [0xA6] (+5V)
    Voltage 5    -7.20 Volts [0x96] (-12V)
    Voltage 6    -6.00 Volts [0x7D] (-5V)
    Voltage 7    2.82 Volts [0x8C] (+5V VCCH)
    Voltage 8    1.48 Volts [0x7B] (VBAT)
    Temperature 0    26°C (78°F) [0x1A] (TMPIN0)
    Temperature 1    32°C (89°F) [0x20] (TMPIN1)
    Fan PWM 0    0 pc [0x0] (FANPWM0)
    Fan PWM 1    0 pc [0x0] (FANPWM1)
    Fan PWM 2    0 pc [0x0] (FANPWM2)

what does it say in bios? i could read mine with gigabytes solfware (crapware that came with the mb)

i also believe gigabyte board don't always play nice with fan software (speedfan) not sure about hwmonitior.

Hey mate

Got the exact same case.

Quick question, do you have a fan connected to Fan 1 on the Hub.

I marked the spot with a X in the picture.

If you don't you can't read the fan speeds.

I haven't had any problems with my Enthoo Pro's hub and my Z97X-Gaming 5. Make sure you have a fan plugged into header one or it won't work.
