Went from g502 to g602 and now I want wireless everything!

Tasuma

I was using the g502 for a few months now but the palm grip on it for me isn't terribly comfy. So I sold my g502 to my friend and saw the g602 was on sale at bestbuy. It is a bit bigger than the g502 and no flashy colors which I like. Palming it is a dream. But that isn't the best part. The fact it is wireless is what sold me on it. Just having one less freaking wire plugged into my pc is a dream. And now I can bring it with me and not have a big cord in my bag. Time to save up for other wireless peripherals!

see above.

Interference?

With what?

Latency?

None noticable whatsoever.

My mouse ran out of batteries twice in 1.5 years.

(altho the last time was when i was in the middle of a bf4 game, driving a tank)

interference with other wireless devices on the same frequency

i highly doubt a gaming mouse has FHSS

latency adds up

even if it doesnt et noticed, its adding to the latency of your coputer, your human reflexes, and your monitor

OCD would make me want to have full batteries all the time

I actually just purchased the g602 from amazon! cant wait, have high hopes for it. So you say the there is no noticeable latency when you are using the mouse in general? I would probably buy about 4 more just for future use if this is the case lol...

P.S. , If anyone is thinking about getting this it is $50 atm on Amazon. Which is pretty good imo.

Hmmm... Maybe I should get some more wireless stuff... I Currently have 1 out of 10 USB ports available on the rear I/O of my PC... Although I do have 4 USB 3.0 available between my keyboard/ front panel, and 4 2.0 by way of my monitor and front panel... Plus, I like all of the stuff that's wired...

Hey! New SIgnature!

With the latency, it would be pretty stupid for gaming, besides your keyboard is always in one place anyways.

You dont have to recharge, just replace batteries every 6-12 months.

I never had a battery last that long so i cant comment on that. But with how much i use mouse daily im rather sceptic about getting 6 months use out of it :)

250 hours in performance mode, 1400+ hours in endurance mode.  This on 2 AA batteries.

I have been using it for about 2 weeks now.  I actually like the G602.

I went from the G700 to the G700s when my G700 died, and I still love them both. My favorite part is just sliding the cable into place when I get my low battery notification. I've loved my G700 and literally used it until the left click stopped working altogether, then picked up my 700s. I continue to love the shape of the mouse, and I swear by the thing as far as wireless mice (and wireless gaming mice) go.
