Good mouse for CSGO and other FPS games

Member

Hello,

Do you guys recommend any mouse(s) for CSGO and other FPS games.

I was thinking of the Razer Deathadder because of the programmable macros, and I could program them to reload, press to speak into mic, etc..

Budget is under $100. I prefer a corded mouse and programmable macros.

Thanks!  :)

If you're gonna go with an FPS mouse don't go with the G502, it is too heavy.

Corsair M95 then. Even has a dedicated FPS button.

you know that you can just rebind things like reload, jump, crouch etc to mouse 4/5/6 in game without a macro program right?

Same issue I had when I was picking mice.

If you do end up getting both, I will let you know despite coming from different companies Razer Deathadders and Minoix 7000s do play together quite nicely.

The Minoix has the better sensor. I like the feel of the Death Adder more. Synapse is a bit annoying at times though. Good luck choosing!

the g402 is probably the most macro friendly and most costumizable. Deathadder is pretty darn solid (get the chroma not the 2013).

The razer abyssus doesn't have any macros, but it is INSANELY LIGHTWEIGHT which is great for run n gun shooters (like l4d in my case)

razer sensei* not rival was recommended to me by some guy at some point, also has programmable buttons.

but I highly encourage you to do full on research on specs and watch reviews yourself before buying anything.

I used both Razer Mamba and Logitech G502 for CS:GO. I've reached to SMFC on both mice. Doesn't really change much IMO. Initial feels might be different but once you get used to it, it's all the same.

why do you need programmable macros for FPS games?

Ummm, for CSGO you can program the macros so it's easier to reload

What grip do you use and how big are your hands? Check the mouse thread in my sig to see how I measure this.
