Any K70 RGB + Asus Z97-A owners ?

Thony

So 5 months since i bought my K70 RGB and same problem continues.... It takes about 10-40 seconds brefore i see Windows logo. Im basically stuck on ASUS logo or  this character flashing "_" in left top corner.

I have tried all the polling rates (the button at the back of the keyboard) but neither of them changes anything :(

Am i the only one here on LTT forum with this problem ?

Corsair is not responding to post made several months ago and they only said that they know about the problems with K70 RGB but yet they STILL HAVENT fucking SOLVED ANY OF THEM !

If it hasn't been said before.

Have you tried switching into the BIOS mode on the keyboard? There should be a switch with two options on it. Move it into one of them and then boot it.

There isnt bios switch, just polling rate at the back with numbers 1 2 4 8.

"The default polling rate is 1ms (or 1kHz) and the user can reduce it to 2ms, 4ms, or 8ms.

There is also a fifth mode, the "BIOS" mode, which converts the Corsair Gaming K70 RGB into a typical 104-key keyboard, disabling the media keys and all advanced features.

Yes there is. There should be a 1,2,4,8 and BIOS and the far right of the switch.

Like so.

Your BIOS clearly does not like your keyboard. Put it into the BIOS switch and all should start working.

Unless it doesn't...

Do you have a USB to PS2 adapter by chance?

Were you plugging the two USBs into dual USB 2? It should be plugged into either dual USB 2 or singular USB 3 (only one of the USB thingys does the singular USB 3 so check em) as far as I can remember.

  • 4 weeks later...

PS2 will not work with the K70, a new firmware is coming and should fix this issue.
