(a lot of)Questions about upgrading to SLI and more cooling.

So, I have been wanting to upgrade, and even though it might not happen right away, I would still like some info and some questions answered. I should just mention this will cover a WHOLE bunch of topics. This is my current rig: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/zerolessmusic/saved/#view=2Jfkcf

I want to do 2 way SLI with 970s on an ASRock z77 extreme 4 and an Intel i7 3770: Will this combo work and function well?

Will 2 way SLI and a soundcard have enough space on an ASRock exttreme 4?

Right now I have an NZXT S340, I assume I will need a bigger case, for space with 2-way sli and a sound card and for enough air cooling space. I have been looking at the corsair air 540, will this fit everything and cool well enough?

For fans, I have 3 sp140s, but I want a silent rig, should i go with silent fans or fans like the Static pressure with a fan controller?

I want to grab two 144hz monitors, it seems like the obvious choice is the ASUS VG248QE, but are better options available?

I have an EVGA superNOVA 650w PSU, will I need more power?

If I get a fan controller, I assume I will need fan cable extenders?

If I go with other fans (That don't have red LEDS) is a bitfenix alchemy set the best LEDs to go with?

Right now I have a corsair h90, I am thinking I would need a corsair h100i in order to keep my cpu cool enough, is that necessary?

If I get a fan controller, should I go with touchscreen or a normal slider fan controller?

Are there any nicer SLI bridges? I know EVGA and NVIDIA have better looking bridges, but they don't match with my build (Black and red)

EDIT: I also forgot to mention, I want to add a 512GB ssd, I was looking at the crucial MX100, is that a good choice?

EDIT 2: What cables would I need for 144hz monitors, Dvi-d dual link and Display port, right?

Edit 4: Is the ASUS Xonar DG PCIE x1?

I think that's it, sorry for the boatload of questions I dropped, I just know there are a lot of people here that are smarter then me in every single subject I just covered, and would rather do research before I make such a big purchase :P!

The combo will work well, yes. No bottlenecks should occur at all.

The two way SLI and a sound card would have enough room on the Extreme4 assuming it's a PCIE x1 card, but it's not really worthwhile to get a soundcard unless your onboard audio is crap (Hint: Your's isn't.)

Everything will cool sufficiently in the Air 540, though the S340 may do fine as well.

The VG248QE is a good display, and you can add a G-SYNC module to them in the future given you're able to find one.

The PSU is sufficient for the machine at stock speeds.

You may or may not need fan cable extenders, depending on how short the cables on the fans are.

The Alchemy LEDs are good, also consider IceModz LEDs.

The H100i is unnecessary, in fact the H90 is even unnecessary. Just stay with the H90 now.

Touchscreen vs slider? That's your call.

Finally, SLI bridges. ASUS is coming out with an ROG themed red/black one.

You just answered all my questions! Thank you!! I just looked up the ROG bridge, it looks awesome. I'll stick with the h90 then, I already have the sound card, It's mainly because when I was building, EVERYONE said to get one, and I have 80ohm headphones. I think the asus xonar dg is PCIE x1, maybe you could confirm that  :P? Again, thank you for all the info!!

Another question, for fan cable extensions, just a plain old extension cable would work, right?

(Sorry, I haven't used a fan controller before...)

The MX100 is a great choice, I use the 256GB model and it's very fast and reliable. The DG is PCI though, but it will fit between both graphics cards. However, temps on the top card may go up a couple of degrees due to the partial fan blocking.

(Again, sorry for the bomb of links and questions)

It's dependent on the fan, but I recommend the second cable that you linked because it will work with any fan whether it's a 3 pin or a 4 pin. And don't worry about it lol, the forums are kind of slow today anyways :P

Okay, I Will go with the second one I linked, for the soundcard fitting between them, will the temp increase be so much to be bad for it, or just a little hotter?

It shouldn't be a major temp increase, not to the point where it will be bad for it.
