Corsair Vengeance K95 RGB Backlights Dying Out?

Hey guys, I wanted to start upgrading my overall setup and the Corsair Vengeance K95 RGB seems like the one I want.  Now, I've heard of the backlights dying out on everyday or so, on the reviews on this keyboard, is this true?  Also are there other problems the keyboard is having like keys break, doesn't work, etc..  Only if you have this keyboard can you notify me because I want legit information.  Thanks again guys!

My brother owns the K95 RGB with CherryMX Reds. All of his LEDs work and the hardware is perfectly functional. He got this keyboard back in Fall, I think September or October. He's had it since. However there's the software side od things. Once in a while (1-2 weeks) the keyvoard will just randomly stop working, but nothing a quick PC reboot can't help. It's a bit of an annoyance. Other than that, it's been a great keyboard for him.

I've had mine for over a year, there are 9 dead LEDs already. They only started dying after about 9 months though.

I've always used it at the lowest brightness setting, and the dead LEDs dont really bother me because its not very noticeable with the lights on.

EDIT-never had the keyboard stop working on me (like the poster above)

My bad, thought OP was talking about the K95, not K95 RGB

supposedly the RGB is supposed to avoid that issue with some special LED grounding tech or something
