That's a really good deal if you have a buyer

And not many people want the DC2 version anyways.

Seems alright, What will you be buying next? Generally I try to get enough cash to get up to my upgrade.

Actually going to college. Selling my GPU to save up to get a new one in a few years when I get done with college.

>cooling sucks

>77 degrees at load on a DC II 290x

I don't see your point.

The reference card is 90 degrees.

I had this card myself so can confirm.

Swapped it for another 290x dc2 same issues, also search on forums tons of problems

This is because asus used the Gtx780 cooler.

Not to mention the overclocking capability's of this card :P

What I see on reviews is 78 degrees load using perf mode.

Which inst bad for a 290x card.

You might be able to get a few more dollars than you are asking.  I know if I was looking for a card I'd pay more for the DC II 290x.  I'd go up to $245ish for a used one.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Asus R9 200 coolers are the nvidia coolers made to fiton it. Most heatpipes don't come in contact with the GPU.

These temps are likely measured on a testbench and in that case temps can have a difference of about 10 degrees, you can watch linus his video if you don't trust me :P

But on the performance bios it will easily hit 80/95 in a well ventilated case.

Not saying you are full of shit.

But every single source I see proves you dead wrong.

Be happy with all the stuff you are saying but most of these benches are not real world scenarios .

I had this card myself so I can confirm that I'm not talking shit.

If anyone's wondering, sold it for $234. Wasn't any point in further discussion just to squeeze out a few more dollars.

@zappian , @lani100

Both of the card I owned ran at high 70's. Sometimes peaking a bit over 80 during gaming sessions.

Oh yea, both stank at overclocking. So there's that.

Also both had coil whine whenever the load goes down. So after gaming upon quieting the game there is a high pitched coil whine for a few seconds.
