Best smart watch out there?

hey linus community I am considering buying a smart watch

I just don't know what I'm looking for.

The most I will spend is $500 AUD

My questions

1. What is the best smart watch (any price)

2. Which one does linus use

3. What is the best smart watch for the price (under $500 AUD)

Thanks

Zach

1. Depends on your criteria. do you value looks over longevity?

2. LG g watch R

3. Same as 1

Personally, I like the look of the huawei watch and LG G watch urbane, but the moto 360 and LG G watch R are very nice devices. Also, the sony smartwatch 3 is a solid performer if you don't mind a square display.

It's smart, and kinda a watch...

TBH, I'd go with an LG G Watch R, it looks awesome, doesn't have a shitty CPU *cough* regular G Watch *cough* and did I mention it looks fking awesome?

And it's only 360 AUD!! If I had some spare money, it'd definitely be the one I'd get, not sure if it's the best though, would think that there would be.

LG G Watch R is the best one that I consider recommending.

My favorite so far is the black Huawei Watch. The Watch Urbane LTE looks nice, but I'm not paying for a separate data plan or using WebOS.

I would say pebble time that is coming out soon. I refuse to buy any smart watch I have to charge everyday like any of the android or apple smart watches.

G watch R all the way out. If for some reason you can't get that, then Moto 360.

Intel i5-6600k (Cooled by a 212 evo) - Asus Z170-A - Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 - NZXT S340 - WD 1TB (Getting SSD this month, hopefully) - 8GB DDR4-2400

LG G4 - Asus Zenwatch 2

Im having a good time with the Samsung Gear S. But obviously the downfall is that you have to own a Samsung device.

Dont mean to double post but I cant find the edit button on mobile. But with my Galaxy Gear S....

Pros:

-Long battery. Typically 1 and a half days on full charge.

-Fair amount of apps

-Beautiful screen

-Has its own mobile radio. Leave your phone at home(ish).

Cons:

-Curved screen loves to rub on walls when walking

-Lack or replaceable bands

-Stock band doesnt breathe well (if at all)

-Semi bulky

Sorry for the odd format as im on my phone...

Hope my opinions help
