The ROG Swift is the only real gaming monitor of those 3.

Okay, to be serious, I'd go for the LG 34UM95-P as that's the one I'll be going with for my video editing build. :)

What are your specs?

Yeaaahh, we need specs to determine.

I haven't got my build yet but I'm spending £3000 on it so it will be able to handle any of these.

I recommend going 4k. Once you experience the pixel density, you won't go back. It's like upgrading from a "non retina" phone to a "retina" one.

Just a note if you are not in a rush the CES 2015 4k monitors really make the current batch out there look very bad. It is almost time to make that jump but I think we'll see the scaling issues decrease and variety and quality of displays increase around the time Windows 10 drops.

I was on the fence and opted to grab a Swift now, since 4k is not going to hit 144hz anytime soon and will grab a second 4k monitor later. They'll be friends.

If it's for 4K Gaming, why not consider the Acer XB280HK. I got one a while back and it is very good, if its for gaming.

I have the same monitor and no its not too big! I went from a 22" to a 28" and its so much better. I used to suffer from motion sickness with big screens but the smaller pixels and sharper image on a 4k stops that happening.

highly recommend the Acer xb280hk
