Got CoD MW2, now how do I play with a controller

KayTees

After downloading and installing Modern Warfare 2, I discovered that I can't play it with a controller. Every other game has worked so far, I'm using a program to play other games like GTA and Pay Day with a controller. Anyone know a bypass/way to play with a controller?

Well, I don't know about using a controller for a fps on pc, but I'm pretty sure MW2 doesn't support it normally. Best bet for native support would be using a 360 controller. If that didn't work, you would have to use a third party software like 'joytokey' to make it work.

I'm using a PS3 controller, I'm using a program that makes it seem like I'm using a Xbox controller. Every game even CSGO works with it, it's just that MW2, can't really play it without a controller...

PC all the way, never owned a console. I'm using a Corsair K70 and a Logitech G700s.

I use to run a program called xpadder, think is works with pretty much anything so long as it can find the .exe file. Download it and give it a go.

all the software I've used for ps3 controllers is terrible. a 360 controller is plug and play.

but seriously controllers suck for anything other than driving games or games with driving elements such as watch dogs!!

I like controllers for fighting games, and emulation. Nothing like playing snes games with the original controller.
