One of the great advantages of Bitcoin is that no matter how much money you have, you can't cheat the system. Throw as much money, and violence at the problem as you like but 2+2, it will always equal 4.

 

So no, mortgaging your house and investing in mining hardware or directly purchasing bitcoins will not give you an advantage beyond anyone else. Mortgaging your house to go all in on a technology, or any potential investment, speculative or otherwise isn't a good idea as it comes with tremendous risk. The phrase never spend/invest more than you can afford to lose comes to mind; at the same time spending a small amount that you can afford to lose is worth it (when done properly.) If the technology works, the potential "reward" could be far greater than the risk of losing that small amount of money versus not doing anything at all.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Your much better off putting your money in the stock market than buying hardware to mine bitcoins. There is no way to mine bitcoins in minutes, the closest thing you can do to that is key-logging someone else's wallet and transferring the coins to your account. 

 

Your 18 and you have a house under your name that you can sell off?

With that kind of decision making and willingness to throw away your money, just go to the casino and throw it all on black at that point

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. If you're being serious, the bitcoin market is A. very saturated, and B. not worth it. You'd need to find an ASIC miner that does a lot of hashes, most of them aren't worth running.
